Mark and Sara:
Tana came into my office last night and seemed to be very upset about how the
other 2 legal assistants were treating her, especially Susan Bailey, and also
about the fact taht Susan Bailey was going to be part of Samantha's training
and that this was a surprise to her. On the latter issue, I explained to her
that given that the 2 Susan's were involved in the day to day routine, it
made perfectly good sense for 1 of them to handle this part of Samantha's
training especially since Tana was now out of the day to day stuff. I am
very concerned that Tana is going to interfere with Susan's training process
given her attitude toward the whole thing which I really feel is ridiculous.
The only possibly valid point that she might have is the fact that we didn't
tell her that this was going to work this way, but even so, again it's Tana's
way of not be able to let go and not being a team player. I explained to her
that both she and Tana had different roles to play with respect to Samantha's
training and that they both were important and taht in my opinion, Susan was
more than qualified to handle this part of Samantha's training.
On the first point, I told Tana that the only way that this group is gong to
work better is through "communicating" to each other. I firmly believe taht
there are 2 sides to this and taht all 3 of them are guilty of treating the
other 2 at time in a not so pleasant way. Tana of course will not admit
this. I have no answers for this issue other than the fact that I am tired
of hearing about why they can't get along. I also told Tana taht it was my
perception that Susan Bailey has been under alot of pressure given her
increased workload and other things and taht that could explain her attitude
which even I have noticed has been a little different lately.
I'm letting the both of you know about this because I don't want any of this
to negatively impact Samantha to the extent that it can be avoided.

i need to sleep. i am worn out from denver. i just went golfing and
drinking in denver. it was fun but now i am tired. i need to save some
money b/c i am going to vegas next weekend. when is your cruise?
vegas was fun. i am tired. i had to go to portland afterwards.
Here is the status of all outstanding long term contracts:
Duke - 5 year, 20 MMcf/d EOT contract. Currently routing. Will probably
receive Presidential approval either Friday or Monday.
Red Cedar - Contract has been with Red Cedar since September 7th.
Sempra - Option to call upon 21,500 Dth/d of EOT to Needles capacity was
elected August 24th. I am tired of nagging. We need the request form to
begin the deal process.
I am sending an e-mail about the power plant. I as told by an employee of
the plant they would let us know why the plant made so much noise and so
much vibration. I have heard nothing but noise and felt vibration. my wife
is scared because of the add in the news paper about how the plant could
explode if the person in charge of it made a mistake . I was not informed of
this plant being built. The newspaper said that the plant was being built in
a nonresadintal area there are 8 homes in this area alone. We should not
have to put up with the noise and vibrateing. Me and my family moved in the
country to avoid all the noise . Now that is all we here we can not enjoy
the outside like we use to and i am tired of it no one tell anything.
someone needs to tell us something .I thank you for your time.
Thanks

going to end up playing texas in the cotton bowl. i think i would be an
ass-whoopin' like texas never had. what did you do this weekend?
that is the saddest response i have heard. teachers should be continually
tested. i had some idiot teachers that should have been fired b/c of their
incompetence. you shouldn't be scared to be tested if you are good at your
job and half way competent. democrats are so lazy. how could you vote
democrat? al gore makes me sick. enough of my ranting and raving. what are
you doing this weekend? i am tired today b/c i went out last night. this is
a good scene. probably not as good as miami but there is a lot going on now
and our downtown is booming. name some small towns that are cool to live
in near south florida. i heard naples is great. i need to live on the
ocean.
Boy did I unpack last night. I couldn't go to sleep so I went a little
crazy. Tuesday is good. we could have a frasier marathon. Which one of us
is cooking at my house?
Would it be crazy if I asked you to be my guest at the wholesale christmas
party next sat? (Nothing like email to ask that sort of question, and I
certainly don't mean to be impersonal about it)
I have to head home to work out for a few hours....

Of course if it is Tuesday....we can watch Frasier!
You know Jeff, I was thinking this morning about what a great time I have
with you. I am so happy that we have gotten to know eachother. Having guy
friends is something that I have missed out on for the past two and a half
years. I am really happy to have that back in my life.
My meeting at the crack of dawn went well this morning. I got here before
7. Needless to say I am tired! Of course, I stayed up reading my cheezy
book last night. Did you unpack when you got home?

Sorry for not leaving a message - I just thought that maybe you would get an email faster. We ended up leaving Downing a little after midnight. Not too much later than you. My weekend was OK. I am tired of working on my house! Anyway - went to the baseball game yesterday. It was nice to be out in the sun. Hope your weekend was good. And now that you have my number - you will have to be the brave one!

Please do not forward this message to anyone. This email articulates the f=

Per your recommendation for pricing, we contacted Don Black who forwarded=

Like Chris, I am tired of communicating with a lot of VPs who are not accou=

Senate approves Edison rescue deal, Assembly measure stalled
By Jennifer Coleman
Associated Press Writer
SACRAMENTO (AP) -- The state Senate approved a bill that significantly alters
the plan negotiated by Gov. Gray Davis to help the struggling utility
Southern California Edison.
The bill approved Friday, authored by Democratic Sens. Richard Polanco and
Byron Sher, lets Edison issue $2.5 billion in revenue bonds to pay debts
amassed when prices for wholesale electricity reached record-high levels in
the last year.
"I believe it's a measure that gets us to the goal of getting the state out
of the business of buying electricity ... and to bring this entity to
creditworthiness," said Polanco, D-Los Angeles.
Approved 22-17, the bill now goes to the Assembly. The Assembly adjourned
Friday night without voting on a similar measure.
The Polanco-Sher plan shifts the burden of repaying the bonds to commercial
and industrial power users and has been opposed by business interests and by
Edison, which says it won't help the company escape bankruptcy.
Davis' plan, announced in April, offers Edison $2.76 billion for its
transmission system and lets it sell revenue bonds to repay the rest of its
estimated $3.5 billion worth of debt generated when it had to pay
skyrocketing wholesale power prices.
Under the plan by Polanco, and Sher, of Stanford, the state has a five-year
option to buy Edison's grid.
That, said Republican Sen. Ross Johnson of Irvine, gives Edison a bailout it
"neither needs nor deserves.
"I am tired of this projection of Edison as a victim. They have their legion
of lobbyists here telling us ad nauseam that they didn't support
deregulation," Johnson said during floor debate. "The idea of Edison as the
victim goes down in the annals of real whoppers. Edison paid their lobbyists
bonuses for the successful passage of deregulation."
During the 1995-1996 deliberations that led to deregulation, Edison officials
helped create the current system in meetings with business interests and
then-Gov. Pete Wilson, a Republican.
Lawmakers are set to go on summer break Friday night until Aug. 20, a
schedule that conflicts with the deadline in the Memorandum of Understanding
between Davis and Edison. That says the Legislature must approve the deal by
Aug. 15.
"It's a firm deadline, which means this issue has to be fully resolved prior
to the end of the legislative recess," Davis said Friday.
For that to happen, either the Senate bill or a proposal by Assembly Speaker
Robert Hertzberg, D-Van Nuys, and Assemblyman Fred Keeley, D-Boulder Creek,
has to reach Davis.
"I have problems with both bills," Davis said. "I am heartened by the fact
that there's a bill moving in each house."
The Keeley-Hertzberg plan trims at least $300 million from the governor's
offer. It also allows Edison to issue the bonds, which would be repaid by
Edison ratepayers over 10 years.
The plan also attempts to increase the state's use of "green" energy
resources and allow Edison customers to opt for cheaper direct-access energy
service.
The Assembly didn't vote on the Keeley bill Friday, because Hertzberg is
considering forming a working group with the Senate and the administration to
"iron out the bills' differences," said Hertzberg's spokesman Paul Hefner.
Davis said he wanted any working group to continue working over the summer
break to devise a compromise by the Aug. 15 deadline.
"I don't want people to go out fishing for 30 days and come back and worry
about it on Aug. 20 because I know we're going to have reapportionment and
other major issues to deal with in that last month," the governor said.

i am tired. your dog kept me up all night.
i am tired b/c i kept waking up with no covers and my butt was hanging off the bed. i looked at you and you were covered up to your neck with the covers in the middle of the bed. you look like you slept well.
Funny you should ask about my life right now. Now you are sure to get an earful! Beware - My country is at war and going into a major recession, my company is falling down around my feet, my grandmother is sick, I am broke, and my boyfriend broke up with me last week, further confirming my ability to fail when it comes to relationships. ( I know I act tought when it comes to this stuff but I am really sad about this one) I guess that I am not sick and I do have lots of friends. But I am tired and need someone to take over at this point - - - -
I can't believe that you didn't get my email about gas being a buy a couple of weeks ago. I guess if I had seen you when I was there, I could have told you in person. AS for business over here, gas and power trading is still going strong. However, all of the events have affected us in a huge way financially. Down to whether we get bonuses or not. It is not going to be a good year just trying to stay strong but I think that we will survive, and mostly thanks to EnronOnline.
Curious about what's going on there since you mentioned it. Anyway - sorry to burden you with my personal problems. I do hope things are going ok for you - too bad you're not going to make it here. As we are in a cash crunch, I think I am probobly grounded for the remainder of the year. Who knows!

Berkeley, California bans U.S. Flags from being displayed on city fire
trucks because they didn't want to offend anyone in the community.
In an "act of tolerance" the head of the public library at Florida Gulf
Coast University ordered all "Proud to be an American" signs removed so as
to not offend international students.
I, for one, am quite disturbed by these actions of so-called American
citizens; and I am tired of this nation worrying about whether or not we
are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist
attacks on September 11, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the
majority of Americans. However, the dust from the attacks had barely
settled in New York and Washington D.C. when the "politically correct"
crowd began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was
offending others.
I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is
seeking a better life by coming to America. In fact, our country's
population is almost entirely comprised of descendants of immigrants;
however, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our
country, and apparently some native Americans, need to understand.
First of all, it is not our responsibility to continually try not to
offend you in any way. This idea of America being a multi-cultural
community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national
identity. As Americans, we have our own culture, our own society, our own
language, and our own lifestyle. This culture, called the "American Way"
has been developed over centuries of struggles, trials, and victories by
millions of men and women who have sought freedom. Our forefathers fought,
bled, and died at places such as Bunker Hill, Antietam, San Juan, Iwo
Jima, Normandy, Korea, Vietnam.
We speak English, not Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any
other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society --
learn our language!
"In God We Trust" is our national motto. This is not some off-the-wall,
Christian, Right Wing, political slogan -- it is our national motto. It is
engraved in stone in the House of Representatives in our Capitol and it is
printed on our currency. We adopted this motto because Christian men and
women, on Christian principles, founded this nation; and this is clearly
documented throughout our history. If it is appropriate for our motto to
be inscribed in the halls of our highest level of Government, then it is
certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools.
God is in our pledge, our National Anthem, nearly every patriotic song,
and in our founding documents. We honor His birth, death, and resurrection
as holidays, and we turn to Him in prayer in times of crisis. If God
offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your
new home, because God is part of our culture and we are proud to have Him.
We are proud of our heritage and those who have so honorably defended our
freedoms. We celebrate Independence Day, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and
Flag Day. We have parades, picnics, and barbecues where we proudly wave
our flag. As an American, I have the right to wave my flag, sing my
national anthem, quote my national motto, and cite my pledge whenever and
wherever I
choose. If the Stars and Stripes offend you, or you don't like Uncle Sam,
then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet.
The American culture is our way of life, our heritage, and we are proud of
it. We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we
really don't care how you did things where you came from. We are
Americans, like it or not, this is our country, our land, and our lifestyle.
Our First Amendment gives every citizen the right to express his opinion
about our government, culture, or society, and we will allow you every
opportunity to do so. But once you are done complaining, whining, and
griping about our flag, our pledge, our national motto, or our way of life,
I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great American freedom,
the right to leave.
Barry Loudermilk
If you agree, pass this onto other Americans!!
It is time to take a stand!!
Well, I did get all of my laundry done. I went and picked up the uniform
and then went to a couple parties, they were fun. I has my soccer game and
it sucked. I think everyone on my team was hung over, and we lost. I went
out to lunch and then to the mall, I bought some new jeans. Later, I went
out to dinner and then to Fred Meyer. It was very exciting. Is there day
light savings time there? I'm glad you had fun with your friend. Did you
sleep in the same bed? I only have a four day work week. I am taking
Friday off for the surgury. I am not yet freaking out, but I probably will
later. I am tired and out of it today...moving a little slow.

Thanks for the funny! We had a rough couple of days and I am tired of being the daily headline but I am told that I am safe - at least from loosing my job. Although most of us have been told that we are safe - for now - everyone seems kind of down. I'll be glad when things are back to "normal", whatever that is. Talk to you soon -

Mr. Lay,
It seems to have become fashionable to bash you and the other executives as things have become challenging at Enron. I just wanted to let you know that there are some people who still care about Enron and are still thankful for what you have done over the past 15 years. I have been completely distraught at the speed with which my coworkers have thrown in the towel and have essentially given up. I urge you to continue to fight for Enron. True, it may take another 15 years to get back to a leading company, but do not give up the fight. You have made Enron a wonderful place to work and I know that Enron will survive. It would be a tragedy if the innovative thinking made famous by Enron were to be discarded and corporate America returned to a status quo mentality.
I have been informed that I am on the list of those to be laid off because I am in a non-core business, and I agree. I loved having the job, but desperate times call for desperate measures and I understand the need to focus. I am tired of my fellow coworkers quitting, complaining, and giving up. There are plenty of people that will join you in the fight, I hope that you are able to weed out the quitters and get a group of people together who will fight for the Enron way of doing business.
I applaud you for your accomplishments over the past 15 years in building an incredible company - a company that will survive, a company that will once again thrive, and a company that will prosper well into the future.
Good luck and please don't give up,
Zach Streight
Sorry for saying that.. did not mean to upset my honey.
I am tired.
Love ME :(
About another hour or so and I am outta here. I am tired..........ti..............yerd.
I ran up and bought the Charlotte Church CD, listening to it now, it is very nice. I will bring it home with me.
I would like to come over and finish that movie tonight for a bit, but I am going HOME to sleep ;)
That ok?

Good Morning Honey,
I didn't really sleep well last night, so I am tired and cranky today. However, the feeling of RFP is something to grin about. Today I am tying out our February positions with the traders so that they can pre-pay their trades for scheduling Feb 1. Just spreadsheet and number crunching stuff.
You are so important to me, I can't hardly articulate how much you mean to me. I love you and am so proud and happy to be yours. I can't wait till we share a home and I am 'out' to my family. I want to tell them, "this is done" not "this is what I am going to do". I love waking up in your arms and feeling your kisses first thing in the morning. The sleep thing will work itself out, I am not worried about it.
I am looking forward to forever with you.
Love,
CF
